A good friend of mine needed a special card and gift wrapping quick for an young flamenco dancer for her 18th birthday! So I found a few things in my bag of tricks and came up with this!

A beautiful Flamenco Fan had to fit inside the rose. So I used a rolled piece of Stampin‘ Up 12×12 textured cardstock in Old Olive The ribbon is a great buy in my online shop Early Espresso scalloped tulle.  Fantastic to work with!

The base card is Early Espresso Core’dinations cardstock from Stampin’Up and Flamenco Lady and Swirl stamps I have out of my stash –  perfect for the occasion!  The stamp that I can not live without is from Stampin‘ Ups „Gorgeous Grunge“ stamp set. It is the little spatter of ink in the backround that makes all the difference.  I LOVE it!

Actually this was my winter decoration, which I am embarrassed to say that I just took down this week.  Even more embarrassing is that I was too lazy to think of anything „new“, so I just pulled all of the snow flakes off the branches and stuck flowers on instead! :-D! I rather like the simplicity of it all!

Hooray for easy!

Pretty doesn’t always have to be complicated! 😀

Here are some swaps which I made for our team meeting hosted by my Upline Maggie!

7 little tags with different techniques for crafting with Core’dinations!

Emboss, Deboss, Crimp…

Tear, edge-distress, crumble and scrunch!!! But I think my favorite is using my old manual labeling machine to type my text or journaling for my scrapbook pages! At my last „Technique Tuesday“ worshop we worked all of these methods to get the most mileage out of our Core’dinations stash!

On March 4th  begining at 19.00 is my next monthly „Technique Tuesday“ Workshop where we will be learning to get the most out of our Envelope Punch-Board!

I have been moving a bit slowly these last few days after a battle with fever and bronchitis.  Things are getting back to normal.  Looking forward to my next „Sunday Scrap“ Workshop this weekend Feb. 23rd at 13:00.  We will be creating and decorating each an individually designed  Explosion Box!  If you want to join us, there are still 2 openings! Ich kann mich auf 11 Mädels freuen! Dass ich alle Namen merken kann.  Habe ich mir etwas ausgedacht! 😀 !

Wir werden bestimmt viel Spaß haben! Ich habe eine schöne, große Verpackung zu werkeln mit passenden Karte und Umschlag vorbereitet.

Alles passend in  „In Colors 2013-2015“ Leckere Farben wie Pistazie, Rhabarberrot,altrose, Jade und Kandiszucker!!  Ich freue mich schon auf Frühling!

Just an easy card!

I adore the yummy „In Colors“ at the moment.  Just the right pick-me-up for some pretty gloomy days!

This has got to be my FAVORITE new stamp set!

I made this little scrapbook at the team meeting we had in Gelsenkirchen with „hostess with the mostess“ Jenni Pauli.  The medallion on the front was my name tag made by Jenni, but I liked it so much that I added it to the front cover as a momento of the great crafty weekend. I added a few stars to cover up my name which I had scribbled with markers.  (Which had not been a good idea, and definitely had not added to its beauty!)

I also made little file folder tabs with the Envelope Punch Board to add little section dividers in the SU „In Colors“!  Just have to find a minute or two to gather my goodies to decorate it!

Well, what can one expect when you mix 500 grams of butter into 300 grams of powdered sugar, add a few drops of blue food coloring and smear it on the top of a poor unexpecting cupcake?  Here is a part of the treats which I prepared for my Sale-a-brations / Spring Catalogue Party.

Just as we were getting started with the planned activities, the door bell rang and our postman delivered my Texture Boutique Embossing Machine. Just in the knick of time!!!

I LOVE IT!!!!

It was a fabulous weekend ladies…thank you for sharing your ideas, creativity, and of course your very valuable TIME! („Time“ being the most valuable commodity of all, considering that most of us have other jobs, husbands, children, pets and households to manage 😀 !)  I must send a special „shout out“ to Simone and Maggie, who with any regard for their own safety, dragged me out onto the dance floor (more than once) to dance (bounce) underneath the glittering Disco-Ball to the sounds of Bee Gee’s „Night Fever“ and Donna Summer’s „Last Dance“! Not to forget Jenni Pauli, who not only arranged a wonderful creative weekend for almost 50 team members, crammed full of inspiration and great advice for our individual business needs, BUT did it ALL with  generousity, charm, business savy and impecable taste!

Thanks again and an extra Stempelwalküre  Ho Jo To Hooooooo to you all!
