I decided that I needed a new pair of red earings…so I went to dig into my huge stash and take a few minutes to actually make them!
I have been collecting beads and findings for years and have not touched them in a while.

Love using older stamped images and pepping them up with new DSP, colors, and other products.
So easy to add a little shine with the new easy to dose „shimmery crystal effects!
With holiday cards I like to wait to put on the sentiment until I decide who the recipient will be. Then I can chose the language and feeling I wish to convey.
A card, unlike an email, tweet or a FB post, is something very special and more personal to me. Not to mention the love and care that goes into making the card .

I really despise waste…I love to make use of ALL of my left-over supplies.
Here I found some retired stuff in a pretty box left over from a card set. Sometimes I just stamp a whole bunch of images of my favorite stamps with black ink to color in later or bring them on vacation to see what I can make with them.
With just scraps and some watercolor pencils I was able to make LOTS of cute cards!

My dear friend Tanja recently gifted me with this lovely but sadly retired Paper Pumpkin kit. As I was hurrying around packing for vacation, I couldn’t decide what or if I wanted to bring something to create while relaxing. I saw this present sitting on my craft table and knew that if I brought this kit, the decision making would be easy! Kit, acrylic block, glue…and finished!
I used cards, envelopes and included embellishements to create the pages, pockets and inserts.
It only took one rainy evening with everything spread out on the coffee table, in my pj’s with a good movie on tv…. and Ta Daaaa! DONE!

I did not want to „waste“ any of my specialty DSP so I decided to use retired DSP to fill in some of the larger spaces on my cards and to make envelopes for gift cards inside.
The images on the specialty DSP are so wonderful that I hardly stamped except for a greeting.

Using my DSP before it retires is one of my yearly promises to myself. Like most of you hoarders, I rarely (NEVER 🤣) get there! I want to send my thanks to SU Demo Rhonda Wade for this great idea which inspired my new attempt at using my DSP before the new catalogue begins! (Projects by yours truly, images by Stampin‘ Up! )

I just adore my freebies from Stampin‘ Up Sale-a-bration! I chose this fabulous design paper freebie especially because it coordinates with 2 different new stamp sets and a hand punch.
Some of these gorgeous butterflies were just punched out with the coordinating new punch and others the old fashioned way, with snips!

Well, this is a crafty mornings work! It took about 4 coffees and 4 hours this morning to punch and diecut 250 leaves and branches, it costed me: 10 sticky fingers and a good portion of patience!

I have been to a number of Stampin‘ Up team events and workshops this last month, lots of swapping and gathering of so many good ideas from my very talented colleagues and team members. A similar wreath was posted by Mikaela Titheridge on our special FB page for Demos only. (My No. 1 benefit of being a demonstrator) I saw so many different gorgeous wreaths with the new Stampin‘ Up stamp and thinlits bundle „Eisblüten“ ( that I unfortunately do not have (yet) !) 😀 Oooooo Noooo! PANICK!

After getting over the fact that I did not have something… I decided to combine a few things I DO own „Stille Nacht“, “ Blütentraum“, „Starke Würzeln“ and last but not least a fabulous new hand punch „Zier Zweig“. It was not my usual quick project wedged between scrubbing the bathroom and throwing in a load of laundry, but it was really worth sitting down and taking my time to make! (Only kidding about the scrubbing part!) I am sure you get the point, and I do actually throw in a load or two of laundry between projects…well sometimes I do…or at least plan to do it… hope that counts for something! 😀

It all started out with my usual dilemma…
I bought this stamp set „Serene Garden“ in the summer to do summery cards and decorations. As it happens, it was sitting on my craft table for a long time unopened gathering dust, waiting for the right project to come along.
Well, it didn’t … eventually, it got covered by other „stuff“.
As I was finished working on my fall workshop projects and beginning to prepare my Christmas Card Workshop, there was a rare moment where I thought I should at least clean off a „part“ of my table. And what do you know…there it was, staring me in the face…instant GUILT came over me for buying and hoarding stamps again without using them!
Born of all the guilt, not to mention the numerous red and green scraps on my crafting table, this „Post-it“ Note gift, perfect for my Christmas Card Buffet was created !!! YAY! Another vote for thinking outside the box. I think I will start a challenge making Xmas cards with summer stamps!
