This was an idea that I „CASED“ and adjusted to my needs, inspired by fellow Stampin‘ Up Demo Randi Collins. Thanks Randi! I was looking for a personal gift to give to some neighbors, friends and family who I know love to bake!  I have a jotted down few of my favorite cookies recipes, like Peanut butter, Toll house or Macadamia -Crandberry to share.

I made some recipe cards for my hand-written recipes, some tags to tie onto the cellophane gift bags and little 3×3 Cards and evelopes to adorn the larger cookie tins.

I used two pieces of 12″x12″ Deisign Series Paper and two 12″x12″ pieces of cardstock to make and decorate the box.  I was so excited to be able to use some of the new DSP with the larger designs which I find somehow difficult to use on smaller projects because you can’t really see the whole beautiful design and always wind up cutting off a head or foot, which I find more than frustrating, not to mention that it looks ridiculous!

Love the coordinating stamps with the Nutcracker Suite figures.  I really adore this nostalgic look.

I did decide to stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and drag my old retired alcohol markers (Blendabilities) out of my retired drawer.  I have always loved alcohol markers and the fabulous way that you can blend so seamlessly that the images look nearly printed.  YAY!!! Not to mention the vibrant colors which are just perfect for this project!

I find this 3×3 card a wonderful size for on top of a present or to give a little something for the piggy bank! 😀 !

The recipe cards were stamped in the corners only, to give alot of room to write.  I was thinking about laminating the cards afterwards, so that the evidence of fingers full of delicious cookie dough can easily be wiped from the cards!

This is really a fantastic size box, able to fit a stack of A6 and envelopes and whatever other stuff you can think of to add.
