Simple elegant card in DL size!  😀 !

I just love making long cards!  They cost the same amount of postage, but oooh what a lovely difference the sleek shape makes!

Being as stingy as I am with my specialty papers, I refused to throw away the 1″ x  2″ pieces of watercolour card that I had as „leftovers“ from a recent aquarelle project. After I decided to use small scraps to make my card, I had then the task of looking for some stamps with small designs, but could not find any that suited my taste for what I had in mind. Soooo… I just went back to my favorite tree stamp and instead of stamping the whole tree, I just stamped the tree tops and inked-up only the top 1/3 of the stamp!  I am just thrilled with the way it turned out! Not only was I thrifty with my card scraps, and ink, but I was able to find a new way to use my  favorite stamp!

I hope you like my project today. For those of you who feel inspired to go out and create and would like to meet with other creative people on a regular basis…then you may want to consider getting a starter set and joining my group of paper crafters! Here are a few cards I will be sending out today!

Embossing folders make such a great background…and so easy! I am really loving the birch trees and falling snow designs for christmas cards, but I am sure I will find lots of use for them for a „woodsy“ male birthday card and the falling snow would make lovely colorful confetti for a congratulations or a birthday card for a child!

I did cut out the designs the „old fashion“ way, by hand!!!  If you do alot of cutting by hand, I have and easy TRICK for you!  Try moving the paper into the scissors instead of moving the scissors into the paper! One if many little tips and tricks we talk about at my Monthly Creative Workshops begining in 2016.We will be discovering how to make more of the little time we have to dedicate to crafting!

My first outdoor Christmas Market was quite an experience!  Although the weather was not always on my side, (especially Sunday was quite stormy) and I did spend some time chasing my cafefully packaged Origami Christmas trees down the street, all in all, it was alot of fun!

Here I am standing with my best customer, helper and partner in crime! (My warmly bundled up, husband)!  Just another great benefit we enjoyed! We were able to spend 3 full days together! 😀 At the end of the year is it has become increasingly difficult to find a few moments alone together. Not exactly the „Date“ we promised to make time for, but a luxury, nevertheless! Now I am pretty tired!  „Geschafft“ Especially so, when I see all of the paperwork and household chores which came to a standstill about a week ago! Well, I must get going, the laundry is calling my name!

Gestern habe ich meine Holzhütte mit der Hilfe meines Mannes in der Wegberger Innenstadt ausgerichtet. Es war richtig frostig! Gut, das ich daran gedacht habe, eine Thermoskanne mit heißem Tee mitzubringen. Heute werde ich wohl besser noch lange Unterhosen und extra Dicke Socken anziehen!

Ich bin noch am heutigen Samstag, 28.11. von 15:00 – 21.00 Uhr und morgen, Sonntag, 29.11. von 11:00 – 19:00 Uhr mit meinem Stand auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt in Wegberg. Kommt mich doch mal besuchen!

Besucht auch meinen nächsten „Weihnachtpost Workshop“  am 1. Dezember. um 19:00 Uhr bei mir in  Mönchengladbach! (Anmeldung erforderlich!)  Für meine Kundinnen im Dezember werde auch einen „Mini-Weihnachtsmarkt-Tisch“ ausrichten, um Ihnen die Gelegenheit zu geben, so kurz vor Weihnachten noch das eine oder andere kleine Mitbringsel für gute Freunde oder Verwandte zu finden.

Schöne das ich so viele Familie und Freunde mit Geburtstage im Herbst!

Auch zarte Töne bekomme ich durch abstempeln erst auf einen Schmierblatt und dann auf Pergamentpapier.

Es gibt so viele tolle Techniken! Willst Du auch mal ausprobieren…dann buch einfach demnächst einen Stempelparty bei mir!

Having fun decorating for Halloween!

Not quite complete but I am working on it!

Loved making the little window paravent! It was an easy project that I can dress up for Xmas when Hallloween is over! I love projects that do „double duty“!

Here are a few goodies I made using the Curvy Keepsake Thinlit dies for the Big Shot!

Here I just punched out the side with a Thinlit die from our new pillow box and added a LED candle to my craftroom decorations! I really love it!
