I love water-color!  It looks so artistic and complex, but the truth is that it is sooo easy!

With just some ink pads in your favorite colors and an aqua painter  (a paint brush with a built in water tank) you can create your own works of art in minutes!

I even challenge myself to use all of the new „In Colors“ in one project.  With this tiny pot of flowers it was a breeze! This new stamp set has beautiful images which I will be featuring at my catalogue party on June 5th begining at 15:00!

Stampin‘ Up Dove of Peace Collage Card!

Here is my swap from our team meeting.  It is a little different and artsy, using alternative stamp techniques.

I stamped onto design paper instead of white or vanille to give it a collage feeling and stamped the background with a relief technique using embossing powder and then rubbing over it with different colors of ink on a sponge. The embossed image resists the ink, leaving the embossed area white. A very cool look!!!

After taking a look at my card, I decided it needed a little creative „kick“, so I stamped dots to give my card a multi-media effect and then distressed the edges to add extra dimention, without making it too heavy or thick to send through the mail.

I got sooo excited with the falling snow stamp, that I just couldn’t stop, and before I knew it there was glitter and embossing powder everywhere! (and I do meant EVERYWHERE!!!)

I tried to save the card from the extra unintended falling sparkles but I was not completely successful 😦  and now it looks like a snow- star blizzard!  😀

I love playing with my new toys!

It reminds me of being a child and getting a new box of crayons…ooooh the thrill of it! Especially the 64 packs with the very „rare“ sky blue crayon and the creamy skin colored crayons for coloring in the people.  When you „only“ have the pack with 32 crayons… peoples faces are either pink, orange, yellow or very dark brown.  Very unsatisfying for the young artists‘ asthetique sensibilities!

Ich habe es mir wieder einmal „leicht gemacht“…und schäme mich auch gar nicht! 😀

Ein Stückchen Aquarellpapier, Farbkarton, ein paar Stifte, ein Stempel, und Aqua Painter…und das war es schon!

Ooops, habe gelogen, als ich fertig war, fehlte mir das berühmte „i- tüpfelchen“ und da habe ich einfach mit dem neuen Präsizionskleber und etwas Glitzerpulver schimmernden Schnee auf den Zweig gezaubert! Ein „Weihnacht im August – Sneak-Peek“ für euch! Ich habe ge“CASE“d aus dem kommenden Herbst-Winter Katalog. (CASE : Copy-And-Share-Everything)

Gestern Nachmittag, direkt vor meinem Stempelwalküren Teamtreffen, kam unerwartet früh eine RIESIGE Kiste mit meiner Vorbestellung (Exklusiv für Demonstratoren 😀 !). Als Stampin‘ Up Demo darf ich ca. 4 Wochen vor dem offiziellen Katalog-Erscheinen meine zukünftigen Lieblinge schon vorbestellen, in den Händen halten, und sogar bespielen! Meine Team-Mädels waren total begeistert, all die neuen Schätzchen mit mir auszupacken, da ihre Vorbestellungs-Pakete gestern noch nicht angekommen waren (wahrscheinlich bekommen sie sie erst heute, Glück muss man haben – YAY!!!).

Ich benutze diesen Monat Vorsprung um neue Projekte und Techniken zu entwicken und ausprobieren und natürlich, um euch ein wenig kreativ zu kitzeln. Manchmal ist es leichter, mit „CASEing“ einen Einstieg in den kreativen „flow“ zu schaffen. Aus dem Ideenbuch (was gleichzeitig als Katalog dient – he-he!) springen mich auf jeder Seite Projekt-Ideen, Techniken, Tipps und Tricks und jede Menge Inspiration an!

Zum Bespiel findet sich dieses Projekt auf Seite 22 des neuen Herbst-Winter Katalogs, natürlich von mir und meinen Stempelwalküre-Mädels gestern Abend ein bißchen geändert und ge“PIMP“t 😀 . Ich glaube, dieses wunderschöne Stempel Set „Wonderland“  (6 Gummistempel, mit Ästen, Tannenbäumen, Schneeflocken, Tannenzapfen, Hirschgeweih, und 2 passenden Stempeln mit berühmten Weihnachtliedertexten) wird mein neues „go to“ Stempel Set, das kaum meinen Basteltisch verlässt!

Since I was a child I have always loved coloring.  It is relaxing, fun and gives me a chance to let my thoughts meander for a while.

For this card I just took out my Stampin‘ Write Markers and colored directly onto my rubber stamp. For a little texture I used Glossy Accents on a few leaves and the little bird.

LOVE the new Tree Element Punch with an apple, flower, bird, tree trunk, and a large tree element which one can use as a tree top, cloud, cup cake, or yummy ice cream element!!! It is a truly versatile punch!

Floral Wings „Just for you!“

I got this idea as I was desperately searching for a project to present at a creative team meeting tomorrow. It was getting closer and closer to the date, and I still did not have any idea what to make! Finally, after digging through some of my old christmas project tutorials, I found this „Pizza Box“  to fit 2 large tea-lights which I made for a xmas market last winter. After changing it around a bit, I decided that it would fit perfectly to a cloth bookcover which I had bought a while back to give as a gift. (I do still read books, the kind with pages and a spine! 😀 ) This cloth bookcover is floral and with butterflies, and matched perfectly with my new hostess stamps „Floral Wings“. And Tum-ta-ta-tummmm! My project idea was born! „Floral Wings“is a stamp set with 2-step Stampin‘, so I was able to easily place one stamp over the other. Floral Wings Gr. Teelicht Box 7

I am really enjoying playing with the new  2015-2017 „In Colors“.  I especially love this darkish melon red color. I liked to so much, that I went out and bought a blouse in the very same color! Floral Wings Gr. Teelicht Box 3

Here you can see that I stamped undrneath my butterfly in the exact same spot as I used on the butterfly itself. I hope the other ladies have as much fun making my project as I did! I will be showing a lot more stamping at my „Creative Open House“ on June 14th beginning at 13:00! Floral Wings Gr. Teelicht Box 2

Ich bin ganz vernarrt in die neuen „In Colors“! Überall wo ich hingucke sind die „In Colors“ zu sehen. Wenn ich Wohndeko anschaue, in Zeitschriften beim Frisör oder wenn ich zum Einkaufzentrum fahre, um eine Bluse zu kaufen, sind die super frischen Farben zu sehen! Finde ich einfach Klasse! Macht unheimlich viel Spaß, mit meiner neuen Farbpalette zu spielen!
