WHISPER WHITE, whisper white,

what a lovely name for a piece of white card stock! You are an artist’s „playground“ and an artist’s „curse“. Sometimes you whisper incredible things to me, wild ideas and colors longing to be splashed across your pristine surface. And sometimes, you make me struggle to hear your whisper, mocking my impatience by remaining completely silent! But  once I am bold enough to play with you, my little friend, (even when you are not speaking to me) you can not help but play with me by exploding with color, texture, form and.daring me to put my mark upon you. Then, as if nothing had come between us, lovingly, you carry a message from my heart!

Crafty ladies (and gentelmen ;  ) !!!) I am soooo excited that it is now possible to expand our Stampin‘ Up family to Austria and the Netherlands!!!

I lived in Vienna when I first came to Europe to sing as a young opera singer in the Belvedere Singing Competition, and Competition in Graz and through this received prizes at the competitions so that I could sing Madame Butterfly in Stuttgart in the late 1980’s.  This began my whole european singing career.  So as you can imagine I have a very warm feeling for Austria!  ;  )  !

Now I  live quite close to the Dutch -German border and I know how many incredibly talented Dutch card crafters there are out there.  I will be sooo excited to have some of you in my team. I have learned so many things from my Dutch colleagues in my last 20 years of crafting. Intricate 3-D Cards, Pergament Paper techniques, and Tea Bag Folding might be very fun to bring back into my repetoire!  I am sure that you can show me a thing or two!!!

Please let me know if I can answer any questions for you about Stampin‘ Up.  or about becoming a demonstrator. I can already share with you how pleased I am that I have joined the Stampin‘ Up family of demonstrators. After 10 days of being a „Singing Walküre“ on stage in France I am finally back to being a „Stamping Walküre“ in my own little craft room at home. After I get my household back into working order, I will be thrilled to do a little crafting and share the results.  At the moment, my unpacked suitcases and  overflowing laundry basket are calling my name!!!

Letzte Woche hatte ich eine kleine Bastelpause eingelegt.  Kreativ war ich trotzdem, aber eher im musikalischen Bereich. Für uns Sänger ist Herbst Hochsaison, und ich hatte viel zu trillern. Neue Stücke musste ich auch noch lernen, so dass ich kaum Zeit hatte, mich um meine armen neuen Stempel-Sets zu kümmern! Manche habe ich noch gar nicht ausgepackt! Zum Beispiel die wunderschöne Betsy’s Blossoms, oder Vintage Sets Postage Due und Clockworks für meinen Vintage Scrap-Workshop am Ende des Monats. Vielleicht habe ich jetzt am Wochenende die Zeit, diese Stempel ganz offiziell in meinen Bastelzimmer zu begrüßen! Insgeheim arbeite ich an meinen Swaps für die kommende Convention in Mainz. Meine Swaps dürft ihr natürlich erst im November beäugeln.

Ich werde am Sonntag Abend 17 Uhr (2. Sept.) noch eine Bestellung machen, schickt mir bis dahin bitte Eure Wunschliste per e-mail zu. Da es sich um sehr beliebte Auslaufprodukte handelt, die nicht mehr in unbegrenzter Stückzahl vorhanden sind, gibt es keine Garantie dafür, dass Eure Lieblinge noch da sind. Also macht eventuell auch ein paar Alternativvorschläge.

Nach großer Überzeugungsarbeit meiner Stempelschwestern beim diesjährigen
überregionalen Stampin‘ Up! Demonstratoren Treffen in Frankfurt bleibt mir wohl nichts anderes übrig, als meine Leidenschaft für den kreativen Prozess und allem, was dazu gehört, mit Gleichgesinnten zu teilen und vielleicht mit ein bisschen Glück auch ein paar andere mitzureißen.
