Stampin‘ Up trifft LIDL !

Als ich meinen Mann einkaufen geschickt habe, um Kuchen – Zutaten, Getränke und Servietten für mein kreatives „Open House“ morgen zu besorgen, hatte ich noch keine Ahnung!

Er kam zurück mit den gewünschten Sachen (und den üblichen ungeplanten Grabbeltisch „Angeboten“ 😀 ) in der Tüte. Dann schaute er mich ganz stolz an und präsentierte seinen großartigen Fund! Er hat direkt den passenden Farbkarton aus dem Bastelzimmer als Beweismaterial geholt! Genauer hätte er die Farben nicht treffen können! 😀 (freu!)

5 Packungen verschiedene Lidl Servietten in Stampin‘ Up Farben!

Wassermelone, Mandarinorange, Bermudablau, Osterglocke und Savanne!!!

Bei so einem tollen Fund habe ich natürlich erstmal meine Big Shot ausgepackt und fleißig genudelt bis ich alle meine Servietten mit dem neuen Prägefolder „Boho-Chic“ geprägt hatte!

Das hast du super gemacht mein Schatz!

Die Mädels werden sich bestimmt morgen darüber freuen! Ich muss aber dann Montag extra früh aufstehen um mehr Servietten in Stampin‘ up Farben zu holen bevor die Regalen leer geräumt sind!

Father’s Day Card!

This card is already on its‘ way. At home Father’s Day is the 3rd Sunday in June! So with the postal strike here in Germany, I had to get in to post office eary this year!

And no, that is not a new grungy DSP! That is a little „mistake“ that happened as I was stamping my train on the vanilla cardstock. You see…I had this very juicy new stamp pad in my hand and there was (as usual) very little open space on my craft table… all of a sudden it fell out of my hand onto my waiting card base. And the rest ist history! 😦 ! But as flexible as we crafters are…I chose to tap the already „ruined“ card base a few more times randomly with my much too juicy ink pad and ta, ta, tum! ART!!

Floral Wings „Just for you!“

I got this idea as I was desperately searching for a project to present at a creative team meeting tomorrow. It was getting closer and closer to the date, and I still did not have any idea what to make! Finally, after digging through some of my old christmas project tutorials, I found this „Pizza Box“ to fit 2 large tea-lights which I made for a xmas market last winter. After changing it around a bit, I decided that it would fit perfectly to a cloth bookcover which I had bought a while back to give as a gift. (I do still read books, the kind with pages and a spine! 😀 ) This cloth bookcover is floral and with butterflies, and matched perfectly with my new hostess stamps „Floral Wings“. And Tum-ta-ta-tummmm! My project idea was born! „Floral Wings“is a stamp set with 2-step Stampin‘, so I was able to easily place one stamp over the other.

I am really enjoying playing with the new 2015-2017 „In Colors“. I especially love this darkish melon red color. I liked to so much, that I went out and bought a blouse in the very same color!

Here you can see that I stamped undrneath my butterfly in the exact same spot as I used on the butterfly itself. I hope the other ladies have as much fun making my project as I did! I will be showing a lot more stamping at my „Creative Open House“ on June 14th beginning at 13:00!

There is nothing like having a great hobby to keep the creativity flowing! I adore the matching little resin flowers!

Karte in „Minzmakrone“ und „Taupe“

Ich bin ganz vernarrt in die neuen „In Colors“! Überall wo ich hingucke sind die „In Colors“ zu sehen. Wenn ich Wohndeko anschaue, in Zeitschriften beim Frisör oder wenn ich zum Einkaufzentrum fahre, um eine Bluse zu kaufen, sind die super frischen Farben zu sehen! Finde ich einfach Klasse! Macht unheimlich viel Spaß, mit meiner neuen Farbpalette zu spielen!

Stampin‘ Up Katalog-Party-Sneak Peek „Build a birthday“!

Super neues Stempel-Set „Build a Birthday“ in den neuen „In Colors“!

Mit den tollen vielseitigen „CrystalEffects“ (Farbloser Bastellack) habe ich meiner Karte ein bißchen „Glanz“ verliehen!

Als Hintergrundpapier habe ich das neue 12×12 Designpapier in Minzmakrone extra-leicht für Umschläge benutzt! Das neue Umschlagpapier ist einer von vielen „Geheim-Tipps“ welchen ich bei meiner „Open House“ Katalog-Party am 14. Juni ab 13:00 lüften werde!

Shopping!

We have a great Outlet Mall in nearby Roermond, Netherlands. You can bet that this is not all for me. Le Creuset, for a friend’s B-Day, Nike, Super Dry and O´Neill for my son, Wolfskin for hubby and I was lucky enough to find a great backpack for camping this summer at Timberlane. I did manage to get a few work-outfits at Cinque for myself. AND I did avoid ALL shops with a line outside a half a block long of people who I would never invite into my home or with a bouncer at the door like GUCCI and PRADA. I really loved spending the day shopping, but the best thing about shopping is still coming home and having a family fashion show. In secret, I am just hoping that nobody wants to keep their own shopping bags! (Unfortunately, I was the only one to get a stupid plastic bag!) I adore PAPER shopping bags!!! If I can get everyone to part with theirs, I plan to make a scrapbook of our shopping trip out of the paper bags.Well wish me luck!! I will probably have to wrestle my son to the floor for his Super Dry bag. I think he is sleeping with it tucked under his pillow at night!

Nachgebastelt zum Muttertag!

Diese Karte habe ich nachgebastelt von einem Swap, den ich in Mainz von Helga bekommen habe. (Swapen ist ein super toller Vorteil des Demo-Daseins!) Es war einer der ersten, die ich in Mainz „geswapt“ habe. So eine einfach aber schöne Stempel-Technik mit einen „Post-It“!

Ich habe ein Post-It Herz ausgestanzt und auf mein leeres Flüsterweiß plaziert. Dann mit meinem Baum Blätter Stempel aus dem SU Stempel-Set „Baum der Freundschaft“ mit Calypso und dann Saffron (statt dem üblichen Grün) Tinte abgestempelt … und Voilà!
